| The scientific study
of UFOs for the benefit of humanity. Founded in 1969 in Missouri, the Mutual UFO Network, Inc. (MUFON) is a nonprofit corporation dedicated, through its volunteers, to resolving the scientific enigma known collectively as unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Missouri MUFON is the state chapter of MUFON, the largest U.S. organization investigating UFO related phenomenon with over 3,000 members worldwide. MUFON's Board of Consultants, mostly Ph.Ds and MDs, represent fifty professional areas from technology and sciences to theology and law. MUFON field investigators are trained and employ high standards of professionalism as objective and scientific researchers. OUR MISSION is the collection and analysis of UFO data with the ultimate goal of learning the origin and nature of the UFO phenomenon. Your sighting will be referred to a local MUFON Field Investigator,
who will contact you for additional information.
You may remain anonymous if desired. All UFO reports are taken
seriously.
The public is welcome to attend our monthly
meetings. Please visit the K.C. and St. Louis chapter pages for
more information.
Missouri MUFON hosts an annual statewide meeting at the Midwest UFO Conference.
Members of MUFON may also join the Missouri Skywatchers group, which is a coordinated effort of the Missouri Investigators Group and Missouri MUFON. We watch the skies on designated nights in an effort to document UFO's.
